BRISK EV has unveiled its first scooter, the Origin, with a Pro variant planned for future release. The Origin is available in six color options: silver, blue, green, red, white, and black, with the standout Panther Black catching attention for its sleek look.
Key Features and Design:
- Wheels and Brakes: Equipped with 12-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tires (90/90 front and 100/80 rear), the scooter features 200mm front and 190mm rear disc brakes, supported by a combined braking system (CBS).
- Display and Connectivity: A 7-inch touchscreen display offers smart features like onboard navigation powered by MapMyIndia, 5G connectivity, and WiFi. The scooter also pairs with a mobile app for vehicle tracking and status updates.
- Lighting: LED lighting is used throughout, including in the boot space. The scooter also showcases “Origin” branding prominently in multiple locations.
Performance and Battery:
- Powertrain: Powered by a 4.5kW in-house developed battery pack, the Origin delivers a claimed IDC range of 200km, with a real-world range of 160–170km under cautious riding conditions. The motor produces 3.3kW of nominal power, 6.5kW of peak power, and 22Nm of torque, achieving a top speed of 94 km/h and accelerating from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.
- Riding Modes: Offers three modes — Eco, Ride, and BRISK.
- Charging: A full charge takes approximately 7 hours using the optional 750W charger, sold separately.
- Battery Serviceability: A unique feature is the serviceable battery pack, allowing individual cell replacement, an innovation claimed to be unmatched in the current market.
Warranty and Pricing:
- The Origin comes with a 3-year/30,000km warranty, extendable to 5 years/60,000km, covering both the vehicle and battery. The motor has a separate 3-year/36,000km warranty.
- Priced at ₹144,000 (charger not included), the total ex-showroom cost, including the charger, is expected to range between ₹150,000 and ₹155,000. The introductory booking amount is set at ₹33.
